Your online bolt connection
I get excited about retarded bits of info like this: a place to get all your bolts and a solid price with good service online. Newyork Andy turned me onto boltdepot.com and their website is just brimming with everything you might need. Seriously, they just have a crazy amount of stuff to flip through - I foresee an order coming from the knucklebuster compound heading their way soon.

i’m sure many on this site aren’t dying to stock up on chromed bolts, but for those who do wish to use them, boltdepot is NOT the place to get them. they sell only grade 5 chromed, which they try to explain as more suitable than grade 8. this may be because of embrittlement issues due to their plating process, but that’s only speculation. what i do know is that for most applications on your bike, you want grade 8. which they’re great for, but don’t be fooled by their misguided suggestion that grade 8 is more brittle than grade 5. they just plain don’t know what the fuck they’re talking about there.
