I’m slightly surprised at myself for saying this, but the new HD Sportster (dubbed the Nightster) is one of the nicer looking stock bikes I’ve seen come out of the factory in a LONG time. When was the last time you saw fork gators on a stock bike?  A Sportster no less. Not that it couldn’t use some cutting and hacking, but as far as stock bikes go I think it looks good. Obviously there are a whole set of other issues when it comes to these bikes: are they worth the $$ (not to me), Fuel injection (yuk), the silly name (Nightster? Who comes up with this stuff)… I’m sure I could go on but you get the point. On one hand it’s cool to see HD coming out with bikes that having different styling (and an aesthetic I can appreciate) on the other hand… FTF.
