750 Commando Cafe

Obviously this bike is far from done, but it’s so bitchin’ already it deserves to be showcased. What you see is a 1971 Norton Commando 750 owned by Kim Boyle out of Carlsbad, CA. Even peepin’ these pics now - in it’s uncomplete form - it begs you to jump on and tear up the road. The tank and tail section come from Evan Wilcox, with a seat on the way. Check out some of the specifics and what Kim has planned for this bitchin’ motorSickle:

The hubs were machined for seal bearings, shouldered aluminum rims powder coated, stainless spokes. Lowered front and rear an inch, milled the “Z”plates for the rearsets, headlight guard from a MG Midget. Next will be fitting the frame loop to the tail section, steering stops, side stand lug and some minor gussets here and there. After that Motor and Tranny rebuild with Dual Keihin flat slides.

I absolutely can’t wait to see this one finished. Nardi, pick your tongue up off the floor will ya?
